Thailand drubs India

New Delhi: The Indian women’s team suffered its second successive defeat in the qualification round of the AFC under-19 women’s football championship with a humiliating 9-0 defeat by Thailand in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

India had lost its opening match 4-1 to Iran on Wednesday.

India plays Australia on Sunday and Chinese Taipei on November 7. — PTI
