BANGALORE: Toyota, one of the World’s leading automobile manufacturers, has announced its entry into the Indian professional golf with the launch of the inaugural Toyota Altis Open scheduled to be hosted here at the Eagleton Golf Resort from November 5 to 8 under the auspices of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI).

A Pro-Am contest would follow the Rs. 20 lakh Open event on November 9.

This will be the first men’s professional tournament to be held in Bangalore since February 2008 and will see India’s biggest golfers battle it out in the race for ending the year as No. 1.
