STATCOM meet held

A STATCOM (School level traffic awareness and transport committee) meet was organised by the City Traffic Police at Olivet School on Saturday.

The students of classes 6th to 10th were told about various aspects of road safety and traffic rules. Documentaries on traffic signs, zebra crossings, footpaths and the measures to be taken to prevent road accidents were screened.

CI (traffic) K. Prabhakar, Two-Town Traffic SI A. Dasaradhi conducted the programme under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) P. Viswa Prasad.

School principal Sunita Nair and Vice-Principal P.C. Acharyulu participated.
