Award for VJSE

Chennai: V.J.S. Enterprises (VJSE) was awarded the DLF Corporate Challenge tennis championship rolling trophy, here on Saturday. Jasper Cornelius and Vivek Reddy of V.J.S. Enterprises had defeated S. Rajesh and Madan from Cognizant Technologies in the recently concluded team event. Rajesh and Madan received the runner-up award.

Vivek Vishwanathan of Gavs Tech Pvt. Ltd. was presented the individual award, while Sridhar of Fidelity National Information Services received the runner-up award.

K.K. Raman, Head, DLF Homes (Chennai) and K. Srikanth, General Manager, Marketing, DLF Home Developers Ltd., presided over the function and gave away the prizes.

The DLF Corporate Challenge had over 45 teams from the State’s corporate houses contesting at the SDAT Nungambakkam Stadium. The tennis event took place as part of the yearlong DLF Corporate Challenge program in a variety of sports including golf, badminton, cricket, football, squash and quiz, in different cities across the nation. — Sports Reporter
