Demonstration held

BERHAMPUR: Washerman families of Hinjli area in Ganjam district demonstrated in front of Hinjli police station against alleged social ostracisation of four washerman families at Thuburai village. They alleged that some people had barred them from using public pond and other water sources at the village after they hiked the charges of washing clothes. The other villagers are trying to build up an Anganwadi centre on the government land on which these four families have their houses. It had started the tussle in the village.
