Attack condemned

AP Union of Working Journalists Federation, Greater Visakhapatnam Unit, president P. Narayana, secretary P.U.S. Bhaskar Rao and AP Electronic Media Journalists Association leader Babu Rao condemned the attack on a reporter of Saakshi M.K. Sunil Kumar. On information that Railway Track Engineer D.V.S. Murthy was allegedly utilising the services of Railway gang women to work at his house, Mr. Kumar went to the railway quarters on Sunday morning. He took pictures of the women working in the house, according to the APUWJ leaders.

Seeing this, another railway official Satyanarayana, who was living next door, allegedly detained him in a room in the house till the arrival of the track engineer. Murthy allegedly beat up the reporter.
