Carborundum Universal posts higher profit

CHENNAI: Carborundum Universal has reported net sales of Rs. 178.15 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2008, against Rs. 147.70 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year, a growth of 21 per cent. The profit after tax has improved to Rs. 13.40 crore from Rs. 12.70 crore, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
