Hyderabad: Students who are planning to take the TOEFL or GRE tests will have an opportunity to catch up on the latest test-prep tips, during the TOEFL and GRE ‘Go Anywhere’ tour, which will visit Hyderabad on November 18, 2008. The session to be held at the Osmania University College of Engineering is free and open to all students possessing a valid student ID. Gena Netten, ETS product expert and former university instructor of English, will provide helpful hints towards preparing for the tests as well as dispel assumptions about the tests. Candidates will also get test material. Lucky winners can also win an Apple® iPod® nano and TOEFL iBTTM Registration Vouchers. Each year, over one million students take the TOEFL and GRE tests. Last year alone, students from India took 42 per cent of the GRE tests administered outside North America. Globally, India ranks third in the number of TOEFL tests taken annually, according to Phil Tabbiner, senior vice-president and general manager, ETS that administers GRE.
