Two arrested

Davangere: Two persons were arrested here on Monday for allegedly selling animal skin, including that of a tiger. Police recovered animal skin worth Rs. 2.50 lakh from the arrested. The arrested are Prakash (34) of Shimoga and Poornachandra (37) of Davangere. Police sources said that the the CID wing of the State Forest Department was looking for Prakash for the past six months because he had allegedly been killing wild animals and selling their skin. — Staff Correspondent
