Vigilance week at HAL

Bangalore: Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. chairman Ashok K. Baweja on Tuesday urged his staff to bring in more transparency in all aspects of work, be it procurement or production. Inaugurating Vigilance Awareness Week in Bangalore, he said: “Transparency in work builds credibility and a vibrant organisation. It is our mission to become a globally competitive aerospace industry. To achieve our objectives, integrity has to be a core value.” The HAL, on the occasion, had launched a special vigilance portal on its website to explain the procedures for lodging complaints and grievances, and to publicise the complaint-handling policy of the company. — Staff Reporter
