Maoists burn jeep, van

VISAKHAPATNAM: Members of the CPI (Maoist) group burnt a jeep and a van at Busuput village of Pedhabayalu mandal on the Orissa border on Tuesday.

According to reports reaching here, the Maoists stopped the jeep and van that were going to the shandy and ordered the occupants to alight before setting the vehicles afire. No one was injured in the incident. The Maoists left behind some pamphlets.The village is located in an interior area and not much information could be received the by the police till late in the evening.
