Special trains to Tiruchi

Special trains are to be operated between Madurai and Tiruchi from November 7 to 29, except on Sundays, to clear passenger rush.

According to a Southern Railway press release, 0695 Tiruchi-Madurai special will leave Tiruchi at 7.30 a.m. and reach Madurai at 10.50 a.m.

Train 0696 Madurai-Tiruchi special will leave Madurai at 5.10 p.m. and reach Tiruchi at 8.20 p.m.

The specials will stop at Manapparai, Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Sholavandan and Koodal Nagar.

They will run with two air-conditioned two-tier, one air-conditioned three-tier, six sleeper class, one general second class and one second class-cum-luggage van coaches.

Advance reservation for the trains commences on November 5.
