Held for sexually abusing minor girl

TAMBARAM: The Adambakkam police have arrested a 43-year-old man on charges of sexually abusing an eight-year-old girl.

Police said Lakshmanan, an engineer with a private firm, was living in an apartment complex in Ram Nagar, Adambakkam. On Sunday evening, the girl, living in an apartment in the complex was playing outside when he sexually abused her. Following a complaint from the girl’s mother, the Adambakkam police registered a case and arrested the man .
