HYDERABAD: The AP Congress Committee (APCC) has asked its cadre to turn the latest Election Commission norm that objections to voters’ lists be received in the presence of agents of various political parties at the booth level as the first step to preparation for elections. APCC president D. Srinivas wanted the constitution of mandal and block-level committees to be expedited and membership drive completed by the month-end. In a separate release, Mr. Srinivas allocated work to APCC office-bearers. Mr. S. Indrasain Reddy, vice-president, would be in-charge of administration and Tripurana Venkataratnam, general secretary, would look after the president’s office at the Gandhi Bhavan. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
