Begusarai: An activist of proscribed CPI (Maoist), Dayanand Malakar, carrying Rs.50,000 on his head, has been arrested from the district in Bihar, police said on Thursday. On specific information, police arrested Malakar, self-styled zonal committee secretary of the CPI (Maoist), from Lakhanpatti village under Khodawanpur police station on Wednesday night, Superintendent of Police P Kannan said. Four mobile phones and Rs.8000 in cash were recovered from his possession, the SP said adding that he uses four different names - Chhotu, Kulbir, Akash and Suman.
