CHENNAI: In a report “Sufficient stock of rice for cardholders” (November 4, 2008, page 4), a sentence in the third paragraph said that as kuruvai harvest will go on till the first week of December, the Civil Supplies Corporation is likely to procure about 4 tonnes in the current kuruvai season. It should have been four lakh tonnes – Readers’ Editor.
