SAIL pays final dividend to Government

NEW DELHI: The Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilisers and Steel, Ram Vilas Paswan handed over a cheque for Rs. 638.04 crore to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as final dividend to the Central Government for the financial year 2008 on behalf of Steel Authority of India. The total final dividend paid by SAIL to its shareholders amounts to Rs. 743.47 crore.
