GOT HIM: Punjab opener Karan Goel is trapped in front of the wicket by Amit Bhandari of Delhi.

NEW DELHI: The final day’s play was reduced to a farce once Delhi’s first innings folded up in the Ranji Trophy super league match against Punjab at the Roshanara Club ground here on Thursday.

Resuming at 434 for eight, Delhi was bowled out for 519 with Chetanya Nanda making an attractive 56 studded with five fours.

Punjab used the afternoon for some batting practice as Delhi also pressed non-regular bowlers into action.

Yuvraj Singh entertained the sparse audience with a 44-ball knock of 38 with six fours and two sixes.

Punjab will meet Rajasthan in its next match at home, while Delhi travels to Hyderabad.
