I-D cards for members of temple priests’ board

CHENNAI: The village temple priests’ welfare board meeting chaired by Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister K.R. Periyakaruppan on Thursday decided to issue identity cards to all members of the board so that welfare schemes could be extended to them. Besides Rs.1 lakh insurance for accident victims, the schemes include assistance for marriage of the wards of the members, medical facilities and education assistance.
