Kerala keeps BSNL trophy

KOCHI: Kerala defeated Tamil Nadu 95-66 and retained the title in the eighth all-India BSNL basketball tournament here on Friday.

Kerala finished with an all-win record in the four-team super league while Tamil Nadu finished runner-up.

The results (super league): Kerala 95 (Rahul Krishna 23, Ullas Jose 22, Bobit Mathew 17, Manzoor Ahamed 12,Vijobi Vakkachan 10) bt Tamil Nadu 66 (T. Saravana Kumar 24, A. Ganavel 18, Delhiraj 10).

Orissa 92 (Asok Kumar Naik 33, Shashikant Mohanty 22, Saroj Kumar Behra 17) bt Karnataka 72 (P. Naresh 19, Ayed Ajmal Mohammed 16).
