Manjrekar XI gains two points

MUMBAI: Vijay Manjrekar XI gained two points for its first innings lead over Vijay Merchant XI in a second round match of the 23rd Sportstar Trophy under-19 selection trial tournament, which ended in a draw.

The scores: Vijay Manjrekar XI 381 & 166 for five decl. (Shashank Singh 59, Nikhil Patil 36) drew with Vijay Merchant XI 272 (Tanmay Jadhav 36, Rahul Tondulkar 91, Akshay Palkar 35, Shivraj Deshmukh four for 68) & 62 for seven (Himanshu Sonthalia four for 16).
