H. Sundaram passes away

Chennai: Former Tamil Nadu wicket-keeper batsman H. Sundaram passed away following an accident, here, on Saturday. He was 60. He is survived by wife and two sons.

Sundaram played seven Ranji Trophy matches for the State in the 1974-75 and 1977-78 seasons.

A competent ‘keeper and an aggressive batsman, he began his TNCA first division career by playing for Comrades CC and then represented IOB for two decades.

TNCA president N. Srinivasan expressed his grief on the passing away of Sundaram.
