A.V.M. Rajeswari dead

CHENNAI: A.V.M. Rajeswari, wife of the late A.V. Meiyappan, founder of AVM Studios, died on Sunday. She was 87. She died at 8 p.m. at her home in Chennai following a prolonged illness.

She is survived by four sons A.V.M. Murugan, A.V.M. Kumaran, A.V.M. Saravanan and A.V.M. Balasubramanian and a daughter. “She was a guiding force for my father in his life,” said A.V.M. Kumaran. — Special Correspondent
