Mukundan criticised

MALAPPURAM: P. Surendran, writer, on Sunday, criticised Kerala Sahitya Akademi chairman M. Mukundan for his statement against Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan.

He was addressing a cultural meeting organised as part of the 34th State conference of the Kerala NGO Association.

He said those writers who criticized Bengali writer Mahesweta Devi when she came to Kerala some time ago had no qualification even to share a stage with her. — Staff Reporter
