Junior National badminton

CHENNAI: The 33rd junior inter-State and National badminton championships will be held at the A.J. Stadium, Sivakasi from December 8 to 16, according to a press release from the Tamil Nadu Badminton Association. The championship, organised by Virudhunagar District BA, will see 35 State sides taking part.

The qualifying matches will be held on December 8 and 9 while the inter-State championships will be held on December 10 and 11. The individual events begin on December 12. Anil Singh (Rajasthan) has been nominated as referee while V. Sudhakar (AP) and Mohammed Ali (TN) will be the deputy referees.
