Inter-district archery

VISAKHAPATNAM: The 17th junior inter-district archery championships will be conducted at the Andhra University ground here from Monday to Wednesday.

More than 100 archers from several districts of AP would take part in the championships. The competitions would be held in Indian, compound and recurve categories.

The AP boys and girls teams, each having four competitors for the three categories, would be selected during the inter-district meet to participate in the junior National championships to be held in Jamshedpur from Nov. 27 to 29.

The top three in the National championships would be in consideration for the Indian team that would participate in the Youth Olympics to be held next year, according to AP Archery Association office-bearers.
