NEW DELHI: Eminent jurist Indira Jaisingh has called for effective implementation of laws relating to protection of rights of the differently-abled. Inaugurating “Sambhav-2008” organised by Alpana Society here over the weekend, Ms. Jaisingh said: “There are a number of provisions in our law and the Constitution to protect the rights of individuals with any form of disability but their implementation is very tardy.” © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
