St. Gregorious in quarterfinals

THIRUVANANTHAPRUAM: St. Gregorious HS (Alappuzha) and TIHSS (Kasaragod) entered the quarterfinals of the KCA all-Kerala inter-school cricket tournament here on Monday.

St. Gregorious defeated Gujarathi Vidyalaya by seven wickets while TIHSS also scored an identical win over KNHS, Malappuram. In a first round match VHSS, Pallappuram, beat PGMBHS, Pathanamthita, by two wickets.

The scores: Gujarathi Vidyalaya 90 in 20 overs (Unnikrishnan three for 12) lost to St. Gregorious 91 for three in 10.3 overs

KNHS, Malappuram, 66 for nine in 20 overs (Javid three for 15, Ali Asrath three for 13) los to TIHSS, Kasaragod, 67 for three in 11.3 overs

PGMBHS, Pathanamthitta, 95 in 28.2 overs (Ajay Kumar four for 22, Abhishek three for 20) bt VHSS, Pallappuram, 96 for eight in 22.2 overs (C. Sajan four for 14).
