Shakeel gang member held

HYDERABAD: The police on Tuesday reportedly picked up Ali Sayeed, member of the Mumbai-based mafia gang led by Chota Shakeel, from the old city when he allegedly tried to extort money from a real estate businessman.

Sayeed, it is learnt, was threatening to kill the businessman if he failed to give money. The businessman approached the police officials who laid a trap for him and caught him late in the night.
