All Saints HS posts big win

HYDERABAD: Tanmay Agarwal scored 123 and took three for 23 to help All Saints HS to beat MGM School by 104 runs in the HCA inter school (under 14) cricket tournament on Wednesday.

The scores: All Saints HS 245 for four (Tanmay Agarwal 123) bt MGM School 141 (Tanmay three for 23).

Bhavans School (B) 287 for four (Poojith 118, Sachin 97) bt Auxilium School 87 (Janardhan six for 21).

St. Peter’s HS 275 for three (A. Ranjith Kumar 144, Shahdaab Tumbi 108) bt Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan PS 164 (Bhavesh 34, Sashank three for 29).

Don Bosco 210 (Md. Saddam Hussain 50, Suresh Babu 63, Puri four for 40) bt Chirec PS 91 (Sai Rakshith five for 12, Sisik five for four).

St. Andrew’s ‘B’ Team 169 (Akash 38, Krishna Charit 31, Suresh three for 24, Yudish three for 16) lost to HPS Begumpet 172 for eight (Vishal 41, Vijay three for 38, Samba Lingam three for 19).

A – Div two day matches: Sayi Satya 332 (Nikilesh Thunga 65, Sourabh 41, Saketh 36, Gavesh 32, Harsha Varddhan seven for 85) bt Team Speed 247 (Praveen Yadav 60, Shilpee 30, Chandu four for 26).

A – Div one day matches: Sultan Shahi CC 220 (Sunil Singh 53, Waman Kumar 36, Raghavendra 35, Vinooth four for 42) lost to Victoria 223 for six (Arun Kumar 70 not out, A. Koushik 51, Varma 37).

Vijaynagar CC 99 (Venkat four for 24) lost to Venus Cybertech 100 for five (Istaq 31).

St. Andrews wins

St. Andrews High School defeated Abhyasa School 4-0 in the Sachdev Sports trophy inter school football tournament.

The goals were scored by Valentino, Nagaraj, Mukesh and Sankrit.

Sridhar’s death condoled

The Hyderabad Cricket Association condoled the demise of former Ranji trophy player C. Sridhar.

In a message released here on Wednesday the Joint Secretary, HCA, D.S. Chalapathi extended heartfelt condolences on his own behalf and on behalf of the HCA to the bereaved family members.

Hyderabad and Delhi players who were taking part in the Ranji Trophy match at the stadium in Uppal observed two minutes silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
