Sacred Heart in semifinals

KOCHI: Sacred Heart High School, Thevara, brushed aside SBOA (Chittoor) 30-12 and entered the boys’ semifinals of the P. L. Lawrence Trophy inter-school basketball tournament on Wednesday.

The results: Boys quarterfinals: Sacred Heart HS, Thevara bt SBOA, Chittoor 30-12. Pre-quarterfinals: SBOA bt SDPY, Palluruthy 35-13; Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala bt St. Paul’s International, Kalamassery 29-18; Don Bosco, Vaduthala bt St. John de Britto, Fort Kochi 30-20. Girls’ pre-quarterfinals: Toc-H, Vytilla bt Govt. GHS, Ernakulam 17-4; Vidyodaya, Thevakkal bt SBOA, Chittoor 19-14.
