Lawrence is champion

Udhagamandalam: Lawrence School maintained a clean super league slate and emerged champion of the NDCA inter-school under-16 cricket tournament for the Azar Hassan Trophy here recently.

M.S. Arvind’s (91 not out & five for 1) all-round show saw Lawrence thrash Hebron by 408 runs in the opener. It followed it up with a two-wicket win over Laidlaw Memorial for the title.

Later, Jeff P. George slammed an unbeaten 127 to help Laidlaw Memorial defeat Hebron by 196 runs for the second position.
