Jewellery stolen

KRISHNAGIRI: Armed dacoits entered the residence of a local DMK functionary Chinnarasu at D.K. Nagar in Soolagiri and decamped with jewellery and a two-wheeler on Wednesday night. Chinnarasu, a former panchayat union president, returned home around 8 p.m. and found the door broke open.
