Collector escapes unhurt in accident

Nagercoil: Collector Rajendra Kumar, who assumed charge, escaped unhurt after his car met with an accident at Paraicode near Thuckalay on Thursday.

According to sources, while he was proceeding towards Melpuram after attending a special health camp organised for the benefit of folk artistes, a van proceeding towards Nagercoil hit the car of the Collector.

Case registered

Police have registered a case and are investigating.
