Cop hangs himself

NEW DELHI: A 26-year-old Delhi police constable hanged himself in his house at New Ashok Nagar in the Capital’s trans-Yamuna area on Wednesday. No suicide note has been found.

Constable Sushil Kumar Chaudhry, posted with the Police Control Room, was found hanging from the ceiling by his family members on Thursday morning. He was married and had two children. He belonged to Bulandhshahr in Uttar Pradesh.

The police have initiated inquest proceedings.
