Patient at MCH jumps to death

KOZHIKODE: A patient at the Government Medical College Hospital here jumped to death on Friday morning from the ward in which he was under treatment. Rajan Tattarakandiyil, 50, of Koothuparamba was admitted to MCH two days ago after he attempted to commit suicide by slitting his veins. He jumped from the sun shade of the ward on the third floor, sources said. He died on the spot. A post mortem was conducted and the body was handed over to his relatives. —Staff Reporter
