Union Bank launches mobile banking

MUMBAI: Union Bank of India on Friday launched a mobile banking service, Umobile, enabling its customers to perform basic banking activities including account-to-account fund transfers to a maximum of Rs. 5,000 a day. The bank plans to roll out the service free of charge for six months, Chairman and Managing Director M V Nair said.
