CHENNAI: A Special Court for Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) cases sentenced a National Insurance Company employee S.K. Sathappan to three years imprisonment for misappropriating funds.

According to prosecution, Sathappan had misappropriated funds to the tune of Rs. 11.35 lakh.
