Road roko

CHENNAI: Traffic on Tiruvottriyur High Road was disrupted on Friday evening after a group of people staged a road roko.Police said that B. Sakthivel (24) of Poondi Thangammal Street in New Washermanpet was taken to a private hospital with high fever and vomiting. After administering first aid, the doctor advised the family members to take the patient to Stanley Medical College and Hospital. However, the doctors at Stanley declared Sakthivel dead on arrival.

Family members protested in front of the private hospital, accusing it of providing wrong treatment.
