Shujaat Husain Khan CHENNAI: Sitar exponent Shujaat Husain Khan will perform at The Hindu Friday Review November Fest, being held at The Music Academy, at 7.15 p.m., on Saturday. Shujaat Khan’s greatest achievement is to have lived up to his extraordinary musical heritage – he is the son and disciple of sitar maestro Vilayat Khan. Shujaat’s music is haunting. Flashes of his father’s genius are part of his own vision of the grand ragas of his gharana from Yaman to Darbari. He will be accompanied by Arunangshu Choudhury and Shankar Debnath on the tabla. Please note the following parking arrangements for The Hindu Friday Review November Fest. Parking at Music Academy is only for owner-driven vehicles and on a first-come-first served basis.
