Training in swimming from Tuesday

TIRUCHI: The Tiruchi-unit of Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu will conduct the ‘learn to swim’ programme at the Anna Stadium swimming pool here from November 18 to 30.

The classes would be held between 6.30 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. for men and from 7.45 a.m. to 8.45 a.m. for women. Adults and children above the age of eight could attend the classes. The training fee for the programme would be Rs.500.

Those interested in swimming regularly could become a member of the pool by paying the prescribed fee of Rs.3,000 for a year; Rs.1,750 for six months, Rs.1,250 for three months and Rs.500 a month.
