Lawyers’ body greets Krishna Iyer

Kochi: The Indian Association of Lawyers, State committee, greeted the former Supreme Court judge V.R. Krishna Iyer who turned 94 on Saturday. The function was inaugurated by Abdul Gafoor, former High Court judge and chairman, Agriculture Credit Relief Commission. He said Mr. Iyer had turned the judiciary into a tool for delivering social justice to the poor. He had adopted a humanitarian approached while interpreting the laws. — Special Correspondent
