Appoint women’s panel chief: Lok Satta

HYDERABAD: The Lok Satta Party on Saturday demanded appointment of a chairperson for the State Women’s Commission and help curb atrocities against women. Party spokesperson S. Manorama and Mahila Satta State coordinator N. Saroja Devi said in a statement that 13,000 cases of atrocities against women were pending with the commission. – Special Correspondent
