HYDERABAD: The State government is contemplating to make available photocopies of answer sheets of students appearing for this year’s SSC examination. According to a press release issued here on Saturday, Minister for School Education C. Damodar Rajnarshimha said the move was aimed at introducing transparency in the valuation process and also to remove misapprehensions among parents. The Minister, who laid the foundation stone for the Golden Jubilee Block Building of the Director of Government Examinations at Chapel Road, Abids here, said the move would help put a complete check on the mistakes during valuation. The government allocated Rs. 4.5 crore for construction of strong rooms in every district as part of implementing the bar coding system, the Minister said. © Copyright 2000 - 2009 The Hindu |
