15 students taken ill

SANGAREDDY: Fifteen students, five of them on Friday and 10 on Saturday, were taken ill after consuming Filariasis tablets supplied by the government. According to district MHO Govardhan Reddy, 138 students studying in upper primary school at Bogadabhupatipoor village in Medak mandal were given tablets as a preventive measure of Filariasis. Govardhan Reddy informed The Hindu that not eating food before consumption of tablets might have led to the problem.
