HYDERABAD: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) president K. Chandrasekhar Rao has said that there would be 17 districts, against the current 10, after Telangana attains statehood. Areas such as Vikarabad, Mancherial, Siddipet and Secunderabad, which were far away from the district headquarters, would be made districts themselves, he told a party meeting here on Saturday. Positive hintsMr. Rao said he had positive indications from New Delhi about the formation of separate Telangana shortly. He also learnt from his Congress friends there that elections were likely in a hundred days. He announced the names of former legislator A.
