Chennai: Osama Salim of Chennai held second seed Shiven Khosla of Mumbai to a draw in the third round of the VIT University National under-13 chess championship being played at Vellore. In the girls’ section, top seed J. Saranya of Chennai checkmated her teammate Mahalakshmi in 45 moves. Earlier, in the morning session, top seed and FIDE Master Sahaj Grover of Delhi was held to a draw by K. Suresh of Tamil Nadu on the top board. S.L. Narayanan of Kerala shocked FIDE Master G.V.
