Shahrukh leads City fightback

Chennai: N. Shahrukh Khan’s five-wicket haul helped City bowl out Combined Districts for 179 on the second day of their under-14 match at Hosur on Saturday.

On day one, City had been dismissed for 129. At stumps on day two, City was 144 for four in its second innings.

The scores: City 129 and 144 for four in 44 overs (M. Adithyan 65, N. Shahrukh Khan 26, Suraj 27 batting) v Combined Districts 179 in 85.3 overs (C. Hari Nishanth 59, S. Harish Babu 33, U. Vishal 27, N. Shahrukh Khan five for 23, Akash Ram three for 43).
