Modern School bags a double

NEW DELHI: Host Modern School won the boys’ and girls’ titles in the under-19 section in the fifth Modernites squash tournament that concluded at the school courts at Barakhamba Road here.

Hamdard Public School was the runner-up in both the under-19 boys’ and girls’ sections. Hamdard PS had the consolation of winning the under-15 boys’ title while Modern School, (Vasant Vihar) captured the under-13 boys’ title. The host finished runner-up in both the under-15 and under-13 boys’ events.

Former National champion, Bhuvaneshwari Kumari, gave away the prizes.
