Six-year-old girl killed in accident

HYDERABAD: A nursery student, Keertan Kaur, died after a water tanker hit her near her residence at Sikh Colony in Kukatpally on Friday afternoon.

Kaur (6) was crossing the road along with her uncle Dilip when the driver drove the vehicle in a negligent manner and rammed into her resulting in grievous injuries. Dilip, however, escaped unhurt. In a separate incident, Kaushik Kumar (18 months) died after falling into an uncovered water sump at his house at Mallapuram on Friday.
